House construction finally commences

Kanaan Global School (KGS), in partnership with Habitat for Humanity, commenced the construction of a house project on 4 Aug, 2018.

After the school’s successful fund-raising projects mostly organised by the Student Council since the year 2015, the construction of IDR 36 million worth house in Mauk, Tangerang has finally began.

Volunteer teachers and members of Student Council 2017-2018 took part in the laying of foundation.

The rest of the construction is handled by Habitat for Humanity.

The house construction is set to be completed within three months. The giving of key to the beneficiaries, Mr Mudi and family, is to happen upon completion of the house. The programme is to be attended by school representatives and members of the student council.
